Frequently Asked Questions
1
What kind of clients do you treat?
I specialize in neurological PT, and have over 10 years professional working experience with this patient population.

I see young adults and elder adults who have sustained or been diagnosed with a neurological condition. Please see conditions treated page for more information.
2
Do you take insurance?
This is a concierge Physical Therapy business and I do not take any form of insurance. This avoids restrictions and limitations placed on your care by third-party payers.
Cash-based services also allow for avoidance of copays and fees associated with traditional office visits.
Additionally, you will have the benefit of 1:1, individualized care where your time spent working with me is geared toward maximizing your potential.
3
Do I need a doctor's referral?
There is no referral required to establish care with me.* This means I can see you for treatment, and have you begin to work toward your goals without delay! If subsequent treatment is required for skilled Physical Therapy services, I may ask for a Doctor's referral as NY State requires this within 10 sessions or 30 days of initiating treatment (whichever comes first).
*In some cases, I may ask for a prescription to outline appropriate guidelines and restrictions as put forth by your medical team before an evaluation to help create an appropriate and safe treatment plan for you.
4
What kind of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, credit/debit cards, Zelle, and HSA are all of the accepted forms of payment. Payment is due on the day of service, with no exceptions.
5
Can I submit for insurance reimbursement?
Yes. After each session, you can be provided with the appropriate paperwork (superbill) so that you are able to submit for possible reimbursement at your convenience.
The superbill will have all necessary information required for possible reimbursement.

Reimbursement is not guaranteed, and it is the responsibility of the client to submit for possible reimbursement.

***Medicare and Medicaid plans will not accept this for reimbursement.***
6
What areas do you serve?
Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, NY.
