DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

There is no referral required to establish care with me.  This means I can see you for treatment, and have you begin to work toward your goals without delay! If subsequent treatment is required for skilled Physical Therapy services, I may ask for a Doctor's referral as NY State requires this within 10 sessions or 30 days of initiating treatment (whichever comes first).

*In some cases, I may ask for a prescription to outline appropriate guidelines and restrictions as put forth by your medical team before an evaluation to help create an appropriate and safe treatment plan for you.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE? WHY ARE YOU CASH-BASED?

This is a concierge Physical Therapy business and I do not take insurance.  This avoids restrictions and limitations placed on your care by third-party payers. Cash-based services also allow for avoidance of copays and fees associated with traditional office visits. Additionally, you will have the benefit of 1:1, individualized care where your time spent working with me is geared toward maximizing your potential. After each session, you can be provided with the appropriate paperwork so that you are able to submit for possible reimbursement at your convenience.
